The business meeting will commence at 6:00 p.m.

Annual Meeting Minutes
March 10, 2025

 
  • Chairman Neikirk ordered the 93rd annual meeting at 6:00 PM. After the pledge to the flag, Courtney Cox gave the invocation.

  • Chairman Neikirk introduced the Board of Directors, Sean Whitt, the Parliamentarian from the law firm of VanAntwerp Attorneys, LLP, and KYCUL President Jim Kasch.

  • Chairman Neikirk introduced KYCUL President Jim Kasch to speak.

  • There was an election for three open positions. Ken Smith, Bryan Smith, and Rod Hieneman were the incumbents. Two were present. Both parties were re-elected to serve a three-year term due to no new nominations during the nomination period.

  • Chairman Neikirk thanked all MCCU volunteers for their service to the credit union.

  • The minutes from last year's Annual Meeting were approved with a motion and second from the floor.

  • Next were the committee reports. Chairman Neikirk gave his report.

  • John Townsend gave the Secretary/Treasurer report. A balance sheet was displayed on the screens for all to see.

  • Donna Hewlett reported that we received 32 applications for scholarships and announced the winners of the previous year. Donna reported the names of the Scholarship Committee.

  • Jason Suman, President, gave the President’s Report. He spoke, community efforts over 2024, various upcoming projects, and changes.

  • Jason gave recognition to three staff members for their Service Awards for years of service.

  • There was no Old Business.

  • New Business – there was no new business.

  • The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 pm.
