Your child's future is important to us. In keeping the credit union value of "People Helping People," MCCU offers $10,000 in scholarships to local undergraduate, graduate, and vocational/technical school students who stand out in the classroom and stand up in their communities.
Scholarship recipients are selected in March and honored in late April every spring.
Impact
$201,000 awarded to students for higher education.
Members Choice Scholarship Awards
$1,000 Community Scholarship award to 10 high school students within our membership.
Eligibility Requirements:
1 Students must be a graduating high school senior
2 Students must be a member of Members Choice CU in good standing
3 Seeking advanced education or enrolled at an accredited higher education institution
How to Apply:
All items must be submitted via DocuSign.
1 Submit two (2) letters of reference. Only one (1) from an instructor/school employee
2 Submit a resume by grade year outlining your Honors/Awards, Offices Held, School Activities (clubs, organizations, sports), Community/Work Activities, and Paid Work Activities
3 Submit an official copy of your high school transcript with the administration's signature
4 Submit a complete application and essay with your entry
5 Members Choice CU scholarship is will open November 2023.
Tips for Applying:
- Before submission, check your application packet to ensure it is complete. Incomplete applications will not be accepted
- Progress can be saved, and the application resumed later
- Be sure to save your email and password when accessing the link to apply
